Cute Apple is operated as a philanthropic social enterprise. Cute Apple is not a registered charity and does not hold deductible-gift-recipient (DGR) status in any jurisdiction. Nothing on this platform — including campaign pages, receipts, or communications — should be read as implying that donations or contributions are tax-deductible. Formal charitable status is a long-term goal we're working toward, not a current fact.

You must be an adult capable of forming a binding contract to create an account. Accounts are for individuals managing their own family's participation — children do not hold accounts.

We verify email, phone, and government ID as part of building a trusted community. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.

Playdate organising and service booking are currently available only in the countries Cute Apple has confirmed it can operate in safely and legally (Australia at launch); giving and auction bidding are open worldwide.

Cute Apple exists to help families connect safely. You agree not to misuse verification, messaging, playdates, or any other feature in a way that puts a child at risk, and to report safety concerns through the in-app Safety Hub or cuteapple.org/contact.

We may suspend or remove any account, listing, or piece of content that we reasonably believe compromises child safety, without prior notice.

Playdate cost-splitting and service-booking payments are processed through Stripe. Campaigns and the children's-art auction are curated by Cute Apple admin staff only — you cannot self-list a campaign or auction lot.

Donation and auction proceeds are collected directly into Cute Apple's own Stripe account. Admin staff decide, as a manual process, how collected funds are allocated to real-world projects afterwards.

Donations and completed auction purchases are not tax-deductible (see Section 1) and are, outside of billing errors or processing mistakes, non-refundable — closing campaigns publish an impact report instead. The auction has its own versioned rules, which you must accept before your first bid: see /auction-terms.

You retain ownership of content you post (profile info, messages, photos) but grant Cute Apple a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the platform. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including any photo of a child.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms, compromises safety, or is fraudulent.

Cute Apple facilitates connections and payments between families and providers; we are not a party to the arrangements families make with each other or with vendors, and we don't guarantee the conduct of any user. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. This section will be replaced with jurisdiction-specific language during legal review.

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page with an updated date.
